Melissa traveled to a galaxy far, far away to develop its winter 2015 collection. Space and its components – starts, planets, satellites, dust, nebulas, gases, extraterrestrial life e the immense empty spaces – were all inspirations to create the universe of planet Melissa Star Walker.
The result of all this galactic mix is a collection with a rich mixture of materials, different shapes, where metallic effects are explored to the max. The color pallet is compose of a wide spectrum, that is composed of neon pink, red, yellow, navy blue, orange, military green, wine, as well as the more classic colors of white, black, gray and earthy tones. New pairs signed by Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, J.Maskrey, Vivienne Westwood and the return of renown Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch are also part of the collection.
The geek style also has its space in this collection, with a special line inspired by George Lucas’ saga, Star Wars. The Love System model deserves a special mention, as it returns to the collection with a new look, presenting a finishing touch in neoprene.
